New Photography Background Designs
This month I’m excited to share my newest photography background designs of 2023. My Shop is constantly evolving and changing as I watch blogs, social media, and Pinterest to see what’s trending.
Not much really goes out of style .. a wooden background is always a good idea whether it’s a rustic barn wood or a painted white table and will work with any kind of product photography.
As I’ve always been fascinated with food photography (and there’s a ton of it out there), I’ve turned my attention to all things tile, marble, and stone. These surfaces are great for food, but set a simple cup of coffee on one with a few flowers and some scissors, and you have a very convincing “kitchen counter top” vignette.
Two of my Newest Photography Background Designs
“Oyster” is one of my newest backgrounds. It’s a saturated, grey/clay beige with a khaki undertones. It can best be described as “griege” a touch of green and beige, a yellow-toned pale grey. It’s definitely more beige than grey, but it’s just cool enough to stay neutral.
Tiled is an off-white background with a cloud-like pattern of dark and light grey with undertones of terracotta or peach. Despite its being an almost neutral background, it makes a bold statement and is perfect for any kind of food or product photography.
I use the gorgeous garden scissors in real life as well as my photography. They’re from Made on 23rd a beautiful shop specializing in linens and textiles. I met the lovely Deb many years ago and am lucky to call her a friend. You can find the scissors here.
When you visit my site to purchase a background, be assured you’ll be receiving a carefully crafted, quality product with personal and quick support from me should you need it.
The backgrounds are printed on a block-out material that will not let light show through. The super smooth surface makes all colours more vibrant and all graphics super clear and ultra-crisp. The back is white.
Lastly, when I launch new products I like to give my subscribers a “heads up” so they can be one of the first to see them. If you want to be notified, simply subscribe to my newsletter .. it’s easy, and I won’t spam you (promise xo). As a small business, I usually only have limited quantities at any given time but I do restock as quickly as possible. If you are looking for something and it’s out of stock, feel free to contact me to find out when it will be available. It helps me keep my inventory up to speed as well.
